El 20 de enero se presentó en Alcobendas la Asociación Spain is Bio, en un acto al que asistieron numerosos empresarios del sector procedentes de toda España.

La asociación se presentó con vocación de agrupar a los distintos actores implicados en el cultivo, elaboración y distribución de productos ecológicos de cualquier punto del territorio español para su comercialización en el exterior. El objetivo se alcanzará mucho más fácilmente, dicen los promotores, si se parte de dos premisas: la unión de los pequeños y medianos empresarios del sector –la mayoría- mediante la asociación; y la exportación de los productos como Marca España para entrar en los mercados europeos con una referencia comparable a los de italianos o franceses, principales competidores en este campo.
